Used 2008 Nissan Versa SL for Sale
Reviews for 2008 Nissan Versa
Cute, Cheap Ride/ Not Sporty or Top in Safety.
The Nissan Versa is a well made vehicle for the price. replacing the tires, oil changes and small wear and tear have not been too costly (unlike some other Nissan/Infinitis). Unfortunately, because the engine is so small and simple the exceleration acts faulty when the air conditioning is on (summer months) it feels like a clunker at times; feels like a sort of lurch and delay mechanism due to the balancing of energy between the two, a little disconcerting until you make the connection. Also, Nissan Versa's are in the top three vehicles involved in fatal accidents. Consider these cons on your list of priorities.
2008 Versa Hatchbac
I owned this vehicle. It was an excellent car. I got much more miles to the gallon than what is rated. I even got as much as 34 MPG on occassion in the city and got 38 MPG on one highway trip. I must say, I am easy on the gas pedal! The only reason I traded it in was I was needing a larger car, mostly for trunk space. It is amazingly spacious in the cabin. A 6' person could easily sit in the back with comfort. The seats are extremely comfortable for the riders for long trips. It is one of the most comfortable cars I've ever owned. I traded it in for anothe Nissan product. I'm very happy with Nissan.
Great car for the money
Overall I am very pleased with my Nissan Versa. It accelerates quickly and is very roomy inside. I purchased this car because I have a toddler and wanted a car that was good on gas and not too large (I was used to driving a VW Beetle).I am able to get the baby in and out with ease. It is great on gas and rides very smoothly. The only thing I do not like about the car is that it moves quite a bit when it is windy, making it difficult to handle on the highway.
