Transmission: Automatic Color: Gray Avg. Vehicle Review: 4.417 (27 reviews) "I went to the Xterra after trading in a 2005 M3, so I wasn't sure what to expect when looking at mid-sized SUV's. Fact of the matter is that the Xterra is an excellent automobile for the money. The M3 was obviously a completely different vehicle and I needed something a little more cost effective and something that I could use as an everyday drive with my dogs and home improvement... etc. Basically, It was time for a work horse not a sports car. The Xterra is def quick enough that I can do what I need to do. Of course the tail slides and drag races are in the past, but the xterra handles itself very well for what it is. It's a comfortable drive and is responsive to driver demands. I've been very impressed with the braking system in particularly. It is very sensitive and I got it with 17K miles on it. The stereo leaves something to be desired and I don't have an outside thermometer, but they're not really any big deal. I drove the Murano, Vue, 4runner, and highlander before choosing the Xterra. The murano was a beast and it labored through acceleration and had way too much tilt on corners. It would accelerate well enough, but the engine was really working and loud. It was disappointing seeing how it is built on the Altima chassis and because I like the styling (except for that huge, hideous dash board!). The highlander drove like a car, but felt plastic and cheap, seemed much smaller too. The vue was a good drive, but it just didn't fit me right. I did really like the 4runner, but they were harder to find what I wanted and were always a couple grand more. The 4runner had a good drive, but felt a little too much like a truck at times. All-in-all, the Xterra is a great vehicle for the price and I give it a strong recommendation. I love the roof racks and all the internal tie downs. The seats lie down flat and the bottom sections can come out for tons of storage space as well. It is obviously a vehicle of convenience and designed to be used. Great buy"

Transmission: Automatic Color: Gold Avg. Vehicle Review: 4.417 (27 reviews) "I love my xterra. i had some worries about switching from a compact sixed car to an SUV, however the xterra is great. Sure it doesn't get anywhere near the same MPG, but if you are looking for a SUV that is just great to drive, then i recommend the exterra. It is taller, and larger yet i have not had any trouble fitting into any parking spots. It turns very well, and doesnt feel like its tippy in the corners unless you are trying to go way too fast. Very comfortable interior even for taller individuals such as my husband and I. We are both taller than 5'-11". IT has tons of room to move furniture and grocieries, although i suggest the cargo net or organizer for the groceries. The only thing i dont' like so far is the stereo doesn't have an aux input jack for my mp3 player, so i have to buy an FM tuner. Other than that the stereo sounds great, and is easy to use. There are tons of cupholders, and storage spaces in the front seat area as well. Overall a very nicely planned out vehicle. I would reccommend it to anyone who is looking for a functional SUV."

Not only is this a great daily driver , the off road capabilities are jeep like. Extrememly comfortable and reliable. Haven't been stuck yet. Can't wait to try it out in the snow. it is also a great family car if your into the outdoors it will take you pretty much anywhere you want to go. Have fun and be safe. - George"
