I really love this vechile. I previously owned a 2003. I have to say that there is more space up front, rides smoother and has a lot more power to it, especially when you're trying to merge into traffic from the onramp. The only thing that still needs to be addressed is the leg room in the back seat. There is no space for you're feet. Then again, I don't plan on sitting in the back seat of my own car, so I really don't mind all that much. Handles great and definately roomier than the '03. I'm going for more comfort than performance in this review. I'm a tall person and not small, but not fat either. The seats in the '03 were hard and small. It was uncomfortable for long distance drives. The new seats are wider and softer. Definately makes that long drive more bearable. I would absolutely recommed this to anyone else.
'10 Xterra Off Road - Power Plus
2010 Nissan XterraBud - York, PA01/11/2010
Having owned a 2000 Xterra, I had some expectations for this vehicle. Except for one concern, the 2010 Xterra Off Road has pleasantly surprised. The one concern: hard cornering on snow and slush, where I felt I needed to slow down to a crawl as this vehicle tries to go straight at all times. The larger engine has much more power than the 2000 had and moves out with the slightest pressure on the accelerator. The ride is very quiet and comfortable and the interior is well appointed. Lots of head room and leg room in front and back seats. A bit less cargo area until the back seats are dropped, then the updated layout pays off. The Rockford-Fosgate stereo system puts out a full rich sound at any speed and the Bluetooth connection for cell phone is a godsend! No hands needed. A very good upgrade from my 2000.
2011 Nissan XterraDan Stephens - Los Lunas, NM03/25/2017
Overall stable. Gas mileage not so good but overall an off road minded vehicle. A little light weight so real snow causes problems. Stable Japanese product, I would give it 3.5 stars but not able. In grade terms somewhere between C-C+. No auxiliary jack in the S model I have but CD/stereo. Not bad transport for regular sized folks, toddler/child seat causes problems with space, a little cramped.
