Used 2012 Nissan Xterra X for Sale
Reviews for 2012 Nissan Xterra
Great SUV and lots of extras for your money!
It's a Nissan that's why!
Xterra Pro 4
I love everything about the vehicle. The look, which is red with gray leather seats, the style, the feel, the stereo, with a 6 CD changer and the acceleration. Do I need to go on. I feel like I'm driving a sports car. That is probably why gas mileage is not as great as the estimate. Maybe it will increase. I needed a 4 wheel drive vehicle for winter snow. The off road lights are very bright. I mean bright. They will light up the night well. When choosing a Pro 4, check the cargo basket. I couldn't remove it, to clean under the basket as the manual states. When I took it to a Nissan dealer, since it's still under warranty, 2700 miles, they said I damaged the screws and the repair would NOT be covered. When I complained to Nissan they gave me a $500 check for $900 of repairs, as a good will gesture.
I have always wanted an Xterra and finally bought a brand new one this year. This truck is one of the last body styles of a 'real' SUV and not a crossover and that is what attracted me most to it. I love the simplicity of its design inside and it does not have a million gadgets to distract you. It rides like a truck and has a rugged feel. If you are an outdoors type person this car is the best you can get for the money. It is well priced below its competitors and will be dependable if you treat it well. I have ran Kendall oil and K&N oil filters in mine from day one and it has made a huge difference in performance. This car will last forever. It is a pig at the gas pump, but having the space and ability to haul things around makes it all worth it. Another thing I really like is how easy it is to drive, there are hardly any blind spots. I would buy another in a heartbeat. There are 3 other Xterra's in our family and we truly believe in the car.
