Customer Review Summary for Pontiac
2010 Pontiac VibeBeth - Raleigh NC12/07/2010
The car is very comfortable and has a surpising amount of pep for a 4 cylinder. Better than some of the 6 cylinders I test drove.
I have not had a chance to drive on a long trip to test the highway mileage but around town I average 28mpg. I love that!
The only complaints I have are that the paint is a bit thin and even though I have only had the car less than 2 months any rock that pops up from the road lhas left a mark. The motor in the CD player is noisy also. All is all it is a very good value.
Would do it again
2009 Pontiac VibeProtective Dad - Atlanta, GA12/11/2010
Bought a Vibe new in 2005. Daughter drove for 5 years and 172,000 miles. Beyond regular servicing, oil changes, tires etc., never had a mechanical issue.
Dependable solid and safe car with great fuel economy.
Affordable used car with no money down.
2010 Pontiac G6Donta - Los angeles, CA07/14/2014
The Pontiac is no longer in production, there are quite a few recalls for all Pontiac models. In 2012 I walk into CarMax looking for a deal with no money down. The employees at CarMax are very professional at their job and they all make you feel like family. After my test drive and signing my loan application, I left CarMax lot excited. I haven't owned a car since my last accident in 2007. my first impression of the Pontiac was out of this world. A powerful 3.5l engine was exactly what I was looking for (even though I couldn't get my dream car V8 Camaro do to shortage of credit points.) A few months later I noticed some problems with the vehicle a few trips to CarMax and GM its all the same. Its now 2014 and problems are current.
Though its tenure was short-lived and it was only available in the US for a single model year, the Pontiac G8 is still largely considered one of the best American sedans produced in recent history. The G8 was first developed and produced in Australia, where it was known as the Holden Commodore. It was rebadged for the North American market in 2008, where it replaced the Pontiac Bonneville.
Since their inception, muscle cars have transformed ordinary drives into adventures. Their beefy V8 engines, impressive performance characteristics, and aggressive stances make enthusiastic owners think up new reasons to grab their keys and take their next drive. If you want to reignite your passion for driving and experience the best muscle car the world currently has to offer, you’ll need to wade through the abundant options. Of all your four-wheeled options, the Pontiac G8 and Dodge Charger are worth a place at the top of your search list.
