I purchased the GT version of this car, which helps the performance a bit. I did a lot of research into the G6 line, because GM discontinued the Pontiac line. I wish they hadn't, as this car is very well built. I love everything about it, the G6 has a lot of attention to detail. Plus, for the money, you can't do much better. It tends to sell a little less than it ordinarily would, because it's a discontinued line. From everything I know about the vehicle, you'll have no problem getting it serviced with GM. I'd highly recommend this vehicle.
2009 Pontiac G6 - Columbia, SC09/30/2010
I truly enjoy having this car. It's great on gas in these tough times. The car is very spacious and the children enjoy the space in the back. The modern feature of an automatic car start is something I will definitely look forward to using in the colder months. It's a smooth ride both on and off the interstate. The sleek design in the car makes me feel like I purchased a foreign car. I am truly happy with my decision and even my picky husband asks to borrow the car.
I am in love with my G6. I have always liked the G6 but the 09 version and up are way more cooler. Especially the bumper. They look more like a G8 and I love those cars as well. But I like to stay within my budget. I have gotten a lot of compliments on my car. My sis has the G8 and hers is white and I have a white G6 and everyone calls us the Pontiac Sisters. haha but its nice. The only thing I dislike are the small cup holders. But it has onstar, satellite radio, remote key start, and I have costumized it to my taste, so my car looks good.Plus my car has less than 11,000 miles on it. And I so love it.
Though its tenure was short-lived and it was only available in the US for a single model year, the Pontiac G8 is still largely considered one of the best American sedans produced in recent history. The G8 was first developed and produced in Australia, where it was known as the Holden Commodore. It was rebadged for the North American market in 2008, where it replaced the Pontiac Bonneville.
Since their inception, muscle cars have transformed ordinary drives into adventures. Their beefy V8 engines, impressive performance characteristics, and aggressive stances make enthusiastic owners think up new reasons to grab their keys and take their next drive. If you want to reignite your passion for driving and experience the best muscle car the world currently has to offer, you’ll need to wade through the abundant options. Of all your four-wheeled options, the Pontiac G8 and Dodge Charger are worth a place at the top of your search list.
