2007 Pontiac Solstice
2007 Pontiac SolsticeQuiltlady - Washington DC06/08/2011
I love my Solstice! Growing up I had always wanted a dark green MG. Well, it took a "few" years to finally drive a car I had always wanted. I started comparison shopping at the beginning of the year. The two seat convertibles that are available today just don't have the style that the Solstice has. I have people pull up to me at stop lights asking what kind of car I am driving. In the 30 + years I've been driving, that never happened with my prior vehicles! The Solstice turns heads - men and women! It sounds like a sports car, takes turns and accelerates like a sports car, and most of all, looks like one. The top is very easy to take down and put up. I'm getting about 24 mpg for my everyday driving. I drive it to and from work every day. I still have my soccer mom mini van when I need to car pool, but it's been sitting in my driveway getting dusty with pollen. Every day I drive the Solstice is a fantastic day - absolutely no regrets. I have had it for two months and look forward every day to driving it. Love my Solstice - did I say it enough? Just love it! :)
2008 Pontiac VibeR Rodriguez - Corpus Christi, TX01/27/2016
Great car. Made by Pontiac but toyota drivetrain. Drives very nice, sporty and lots of benefits. Have a full size truck but find myself using my Pontiac vibe more and more because of the hatchback and fold down rear seats. My dogs love riding in it especially with the rear seats down. Driver's seat sits like I'm in my truck not like a car. With my back issues I'm able to get in and out comfortably and enjoy the ride.
Though its tenure was short-lived and it was only available in the US for a single model year, the Pontiac G8 is still largely considered one of the best American sedans produced in recent history. The G8 was first developed and produced in Australia, where it was known as the Holden Commodore. It was rebadged for the North American market in 2008, where it replaced the Pontiac Bonneville.
