2006 Pontiac VibeAmy - Stone Mountain, GA07/15/2014
My 2006 Vibe suits all my needs perfectly. I travel 70 + miles every single day for work, and this car more than does the job. I love opening the sunroof and enjoying the awesome stereo system. I've taken this car on several road trips and never had any issues with it whatsoever. It can store a LOT of luggage, especially if you fold the back seats down. I travel with my 68 lb Border Collie and a lot of musical equipment (speakers, mic stands, instruments, etc) and never struggle for space. I have also towed two 8-foot ladders at once by folding down all the seats except the driver's seat and they fit comfortable within the length of the car. All of my friends and family continue to be impressed with how versatile this vehicle is!
Happy with the Vehicle
2008 Pontiac SolsticeLarry - Kansas City, MO.10/30/2011
Its fun to drive, looks good, and at a price that you can afford. We have the GXP model, and it has alot of power, handle good, (caught myself doing 110mph in it). My wife drives it and loves jetting around town in it. Only negative feedback is that you have to let it idle down when you first start it so that the brakes function properly.
Love this car. Had it for about two weeks now and everybody notices it. Still having to get used to having no space at all, but from what ppl tell me space is not the reason to buy this car. It has pick up and go galore. The top isn't hard to put up. Only downside to the space is that to close the trunk you have to walk to each side of the car and lock the roof on to the trunk besides that best car ever.
Though its tenure was short-lived and it was only available in the US for a single model year, the Pontiac G8 is still largely considered one of the best American sedans produced in recent history. The G8 was first developed and produced in Australia, where it was known as the Holden Commodore. It was rebadged for the North American market in 2008, where it replaced the Pontiac Bonneville.
