I love my G6! It has the power I want for that up hill climb or getting around road hazards. The gas mileage is not too bad for a V6, about 23 around town. I have had no trouble with the engine or transmission. I live in a hot area, being able to remote start it with the air on is a must for me. I can have 4 larger adults and still have plenty of elbow room. The drivers seat has lumbar support but the passengers do not. I was a little concerned about what I read in reviews that engine noise came through when at higher speeds. I have not found that at all. Actually I do hear it when I step on it, but I like it! The unique style of the G6 sets me apart and I have to admit, I like that too. I currently have 33k miles and would recommend my best friend to purchase this car.
The perfect fit
2010 Pontiac VibeJack Rabbit - Irmo, SC11/21/2011
I adore this car. I was looking for a car that was practical for a Mom with two kids, but wasn't a "mommy mobile". The Pontiac Vibe GT totally fits the bill. It is roomy on the inside but compact and really cool looking on the outside. It gets awesome gas mileage, which was a huge selling point for me. It is fun to drive and rides great. This is the first Pontiac I have ever owned. My last car was a Toyota Camry and I just didn't feel like I got a lot of car for the money. The Vibe is a cool ride and I am proud to own it.
2004 Pontiac Vibegot2go - Raleigh, NC06/10/2007
The Vibe has everything my family needs. Excellent safety and dependability record, smooth handling, responsive steering and braking, and room for all. It even has automatic headlights, so we don't have to worry about leaving the lights on to drain the battery. The car is off, the lights are off! Talk about easing our already over-burdened minds! The kids love the sunroof and CD player, and I love all the storage strategically placed all over the car. Nice that the back seats fold flat for trips to the nursery or grocery store, too. All in all, we just love our new 2004 Pontiac Vibe.
Though its tenure was short-lived and it was only available in the US for a single model year, the Pontiac G8 is still largely considered one of the best American sedans produced in recent history. The G8 was first developed and produced in Australia, where it was known as the Holden Commodore. It was rebadged for the North American market in 2008, where it replaced the Pontiac Bonneville.
