Always wanted a coveriblle but was afraid of damaging the soft top. The hard top was the perfect solution, not to mention it turns heads as the top goes down. The design keeps the wind turbulence to a minimum for the people in the front seat very well. Hit the gas and zoom your off, love the power of that V6. In the first week I had it in the parking lot at work a guy that owned an Infinity G series convertible mistook it for his car.
Beautiful car and fun to drive
2007 Pontiac SolsticeDebra - Elk Grove, CA09/26/2014
I love driving the Solstice, especially with the top down. It is a lot of fun and I get tons of compliments about how beautiful the car is.
2007 Pontiac VibeVJ - Garland, TX10/20/2008
I am on my 2nd Vibe and can't say enough about it. On the highway I get around 35 mpg. Going back and forth to work and a few other places, I generally fill up every 2 weeks, getting around 29 mpg. I usually keep the back seats down and can easily fit 2 medium dog crates and then some, in the back.
I have never had a problem with either of my Vibes. They have a Toyota engine and are less money than the Matrix.
I may get a third Vibe, because in my research, I don't find a car that can give me the gas mileage and quality for the price.
Though its tenure was short-lived and it was only available in the US for a single model year, the Pontiac G8 is still largely considered one of the best American sedans produced in recent history. The G8 was first developed and produced in Australia, where it was known as the Holden Commodore. It was rebadged for the North American market in 2008, where it replaced the Pontiac Bonneville.
