2006 Pontiac Torrent - 01/09/2007

Happy Car Owner

2006 Pontiac Torrent Mamooo - , 01/24/2013

Asvertisements on TV lead me to CarMax - had thoughts of what to get and price range - ended up with 2006 Pontiac Torrent that had more bells and whistles than I needed but now feel I absolutely need them all - car is smooth and comfortable and turns in very short space - one can feel the quality in this American built vehicle and it shows in its perfomance and appearance - love the red indicators on main panel - also controls on steering wheel - getting 23 mpg in short runs now totaling 1000 mi. since purchase - heated front seats are a blessing on cold days - friends thought I bought a new car - it gives that impression - glad this Pontiac had low mileage as I surely will put more on it now - plenty of room and options for more if needed - American made is best for me - 6 cylinder gives much power and acceleration. Great car all around.

2006 Pontiac Torrent WHOOPLA - MI 01/09/2007

I really like this car, it has a lot of pick up which was a must in any car I bought. I'm still trying to get use to the traction control but it's great to have. The reason I gave space, and comfort 4 stars is because my last car was a Lumina APV much bigger with softer and more comfortable seating. Over all the Torrent is a great car if you are down sizing from a mini van.

Reasons to Buy a Pontiac G8
Though its tenure was short-lived and it was only available in the US for a single model year, the Pontiac G8 is still largely considered one of the best American sedans produced in recent history. The G8 was first developed and produced in Australia, where it was known as the Holden Commodore. It was rebadged for the North American market in 2008, where it replaced the Pontiac Bonneville.
