Customer Review Summary for Pontiac
09 Vibe GT Rocks!
2009 Pontiac VibeCCTraveler - Illinois09/18/2010
What a great running, reliable, and handy vehicle. Sporty, sharp looking, and dependable, great handling, and cool features. It's a Toyota Matrix with Pontiac markings, built from the same parts in the Toyota plant in California. The Monsoon Stereo /System is on par with Bose. Gas mileage is a little over 30 mpg. all-round, with the larger Camry motor that is in the GT model, instead of the Corolla motor in the Stndard Vibe. . The extra power is worth it, especially if you merge on and off of busy highways, expressways, etc. Almost like a 6 cyl. but with much better mileage. A keeper that is handy in EVERY way. Quality in a reasonably priced , does it all vehicle.
Best little car
2009 Pontiac G5Nurse T - Wilimington, NC11/09/2017
I purchased this car used in 2012 when it had about 60k miles on it. For the next 5+ years I enjoyed this car beyond belief. It was recently totaled and I am devastated.
This 5 speed was so fun to drive. It was a primary car for me and I really enjoyed the responsiveness of this car.
Not to mention it was quite a looker and the only thing that I added was aftermarket rims.
The biggest pro was that this car was extremely reliable and I had no major issues at all. I maintained it well and it served me well. I had planned to drive it forever and estimate that I could have easily gotten another 100k out of her.
This is why now, even with all the newer more cars out there, I am considering buying another in 2017!
Though its tenure was short-lived and it was only available in the US for a single model year, the Pontiac G8 is still largely considered one of the best American sedans produced in recent history. The G8 was first developed and produced in Australia, where it was known as the Holden Commodore. It was rebadged for the North American market in 2008, where it replaced the Pontiac Bonneville.
Since their inception, muscle cars have transformed ordinary drives into adventures. Their beefy V8 engines, impressive performance characteristics, and aggressive stances make enthusiastic owners think up new reasons to grab their keys and take their next drive. If you want to reignite your passion for driving and experience the best muscle car the world currently has to offer, you’ll need to wade through the abundant options. Of all your four-wheeled options, the Pontiac G8 and Dodge Charger are worth a place at the top of your search list.
