Have a full size truck but find myself using my Pontiac vibe more and more because of the hatchback and fold down rear seats. My dogs love riding in it especially with the rear seats down. Driver's seat sits like I'm in my truck not like a car. With my back issues I'm able to get in and out comfortably and enjoy the ride."

Transmission: Automatic Color: Gold Avg. Vehicle Review: 4.714 (418 reviews) "My main reason for watching for this model was that it came with roof rails standard, in order to mount bike carriers on top. I had no idea that it would be so much fun to drive! Didn't know it was based on a Matrix chassis, am pleased that Pontiac didn't make it feel like an americanmade model, ponderous and sluggish. It is quick, agile, handles well, good visibility, and has four-wheel disc brakes: take note any remaining american car makers... In addition to its fun performance, it is remarkably comfortable for me, a bit taller than average. The drivers' seat is fully adjustable, and steering column can be set vertically. Finally, the back seats can be folded flat, and it carries a surprising amount in back. All told, very fun, and very useful!"

It looks much more expensive than it actually is, and rides very smoothly. Has a great safety rating - I bought one for my daughter and another for my grand-daughter."

Transmission: Automatic Color: White Avg. Vehicle Review: 4.913 (418 reviews) "I have really enjoyed the car, for as problems, but the appearance of the vehicle, was a little disappointing. the vehicle, had several scratches on car, back seat had a burnt hole in material, and i was not happy with the wheels, the dealer said it was nothing they could do, but other people are telling me the wheels was rusted and should of been replaced. I dont smoke and my childrne dont smoke, the seat was already had the hole in back seat close to botton of seat. I could not take off from work, to take car back to them, I did call. It was my fault, I could not get back to them within 30 days, the time frame to go to carmax, what the same as my hours of work, and i could not take off right now. So, i said forget it, I learned a lesson."

Transmission: Automatic Color: Gray Avg. Vehicle Review: 4.5 (418 reviews) "This car was purchased as a replacement for a 2004 Sunbird Poitiac, the car is excellent in both handling, performance, and looks. The 18" tires make it a great ride, the gas mileage is around 20 in the city, and 24 on the road, it is hard to keep the car down under 70 MPH, it likes to run. The V-6 engine is plenty fast on take off and the transmission is smooth. My car has all the options, including heated seats, auto lights, Moonson radio, exterior start. My car is a hard top convertible with the top folding down into the trunk, it works to a tee. Having owned many Pontiacs to me this is the top of the line. I would recommend this car to everyone."

Reasons to Buy a Pontiac G8
Though its tenure was short-lived and it was only available in the US for a single model year, the Pontiac G8 is still largely considered one of the best American sedans produced in recent history. The G8 was first developed and produced in Australia, where it was known as the Holden Commodore. It was rebadged for the North American market in 2008, where it replaced the Pontiac Bonneville.
