Transmission: Automatic Color:Blue Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.5 reviews) I purchased this car used in 2012 when it had about 60k miles on it. For the next 5+ years I enjoyed this car beyond belief. It was recently totaled and I am devastated. This 5 speed was so fun to drive. It was a primary car for me and I really enjoyed the responsiveness of this car. Not to mention it was quite a looker and the only thing that I added was aftermarket rims. The biggest pro was that this car was extremely reliable and I had no major issues at all. I maintained it well and it served me well. I had planned to drive it forever and estimate that I could have easily gotten another 100k out of her. Great car! This is why now, even with all the newer more cars out there, I am considering buying another in 2017!

Great Car

I hated to see Pontiac go, I bought one of the last G8 GTs on the lot in 2009 and it has been a great car. The car has been great to me. It seems that Pontiac was just starting to get the quality thing right when GM decided to pull the plug. I have no complaints about this car. I have had it for almost three years and it has never had to go to the dealer except for oil changes, tire rotations and a Trans change. If you are in the market for something like a BMW, don't waste your money on a BMW, get a G8 they look just as good, they have power, the quality is great and they are cheaper than BMW, what more can you ask?

great head turner

ive owned a v6 firebird, found it totallay reliable. reasonably economical, 24mpg, sticks to the road like glue, cost me only a window motor, looks great and for a sprts job , it s comfortable. iv maintained it myself, i look after the car, it looks after me, never broke down, great car for the money paid, pity this models not made any more, i would buy a new one, good car for the new young driver, and now pontiac marque is going out, will only appreciate in value

2005 Grand Prix Supercharged

So far it has been a wonderful car. I travel a lot and rent cars and I have always wanted the Grand Prix after renting one many times. This car is really cool! It is the GP model and supercharged, which means it is a lot of luxury with style and power. Being a 6-banger, one would not think it should have the power it does...but it will scatt! Plus, good gas mileage as well...I am currently getting about 26 mpg on the interstates and about 23 around town. Not too bad for the comforts and power.
