Solid car. A little more leg room would have been nice but fits like a glove. Engine sounds incredible. Haven't tested ESM out so you know I'm not a hot rodder. I am hearing some noise from the rear struts when I go over a bump. Don't know if that's cause it's sprung so tight or the struts are broken. Need to check. There seems to be some air leakage around the driver window. Maybe it's me but it's not bad since this is a covertible. I bought this used and it was a bargain. Added after market warrenty to the rest of the factory warrenty.
I OWNED A PORCHE BOXTER FOR ABOUT 4 YEARS AND IT WAS GREAT!! VERY RELIABLE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CAR. I NEVER HAD ANY TECHNICAL PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR. I JUST TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR REGULAR MAINTENANCE.
I've owned my car a year, bought with 41000 miles, put over 26,000 miles on it. With 67,000..I've had no problems..This car is meant to be driven all the time, and you'll have no problems. I can get 25 mpg in the city, and 32 mpg on the highway, that is..if I baby it and stick exactly to the speed limit, if not, mid to high 20's on the highway easy. low 20's in the city regardless of how abusive. This is a really fun car, great top up or down! I am a huge car guy I've owned the following: Mini Cooper S with John Cooper Works pkg Mitsubishi Evolution 8 MR edition Subaru Wrx Subaru outback..eh..have to start somewhere,,great though.. By far, this car drives more smoothly, (powertrain.6 spd handles better, and gives you a connectedness to the road that those cars can't match (except maybe for the Mini..great ride as well.) Oh, and the flat-6 sound is great as well...hope this helps..
