I traded in my Mercedes ML430 for the Porsche Cayenne S. Where I live I need 4 wheel drive and plenty of power, hence the 8 cylinders.
PROS: This vehicle is very well made. The small details are covered and the workmanship shows at every point. I have Toyota Camry as well and it pales in comparison. The vehicle has plenty of power, you hit the gas and it goes, simple as that. You sit very high up and get a clean view of the road. The engine is a work of art. I am 6'4" and have plenty of headroom inside the vehicle. The gas tank is larger than expected. The front of the vehicle has a cover under the front bumper to protect the underside from rocks or other road issues.
CONS: The storage area in the trunk/boot is rather small compared to the Mercedes or most SUVs. Expect 12mpg around town and 15mpg on the freeways. You need to read the book to figure out the electronic locks.
2008 Porsche CayenneT - Atlanta, GA12/19/2014
This vehicle is not only a beauty it also drives well and can handle any road conditions. The vehicle is a great cruiser and also does well when you are in a hurry. Porsche sticks behind their vehicle.
