2004 Porsche CayenneCayenne S owner - MD12/10/2006
The Cayenne S drives like a sports sedan and actually put some real sport sedan to shame. There has been fun and joy driving this baby since the 2 years I have been driving it. The only one time I dove it off road was also terrific. It performs excellently on road and off road.
The only problem I have is the cost ;) Most of the options are standard on other luxury SUV.
The Cayenne S has been unfailrly compared to a VW Touareg as the Cayenne S has a Porsche engine and Porsche handling unlike the Cayenne.
Great Driving, Expensive to Maintain

I have a 2005 Cayenne myself and it's amazing. It still has the famous roar of a Porsche engine when you accelerate, but the room of a SUV. When you coast with the car, it's so smooth you wonder if the engine is on. And it's definitely an attention grabber. Strangers love to comment on how beautiful the car is. And you'll hear this a lot, "I didn't know Porsche made an SUV." My regret is not getting any options. I miss the nav system, bluetooth, a good sound system and a mp3 input. The ride is a little dull without them. Also it's a bite at the gas station. I fill up about every 5 days at about $75 at the pump. And i have the V6 only. I definitely like have the tan interior better the gray options. It looks more high end.
