I really enjoy a good sports car, I've always had a "toy" to play with and this is one of the best if you like sports cars. A real drivers machine! Nuetral handling, compared to the 911. Maybe not raw power like a Viper or Turbo 911 but all around outstanding drivers car.
Don't buy one if your expecting all the fancy gizmos or lux items like you see on a Benz or Lexus. Anything not required to make it perform is left out. Austere but elegant and a blast to drive.
It is a Porsche so there is that associated cost to own and operate but thats the price of addmission.
Expensive to own so there's that

As long as you know maintenance and repair are expensive and prepared for that it is all good. A great fun driving car

I LOVE this car! I have driven other Porsches, including the boxster which is the other midengine model, and this Cayman S rocks! Cayman S outperforms all the other models, in my opinion, except for the 911 turbo models (where power prevails over handling).
The Cayman S has good head room and a modern style dash (vs. the Carrera models that still use a rectangle a/c vent system). I would definitely recommend this car for the 2 seater enthusiast! And yes, like the other reviewers said, there is a premium to owning one of these (routine services and repairs may cost a lot higher than Japanese 2 seaters), but if you can swing it then you will be greatly rewarded!
