Transmission: Automatic Color: Silver Avg. Vehicle Review: 4.222 (36 reviews) "My wife and I have had our @))& Aura XR for over a year now. Its loaded with every feature including sunroof and leather. At first we were looking for a larger four door rear wheel drive V8 sedan but didn't like the fuel economy offered by a car that size. A smaller car like the Malibu and G6 was more practical since it was going to be used to commute back and fourth to work. We already have an Expedition that we don't use much because of it's tendency to guzzle down gasoline. So we came upon a couple of Saturn Auras and saw this black XR. The price was right and because of its features and styling, I was hooked. I was also very impressed with the performance of the 3.6 liter V6 and the paddle shifters remind me of the formula one race cars. The fuel economy is great too. The only thing that I am having problems with is the noisy front end that's common on some of these cars like the Malibu and the G6. Also, the Goodyear LS tires wear out quite quickly so I think I'll be pulling them off and getting something more durable and longer lasting."

Transmission: Automatic Color: White Avg. Vehicle Review: 4.222 (36 reviews) "I purchased a 2007 Saturn Aura XR (6 cylinder) with 35k miles on the odometer just over a month ago, and have been extremely satisfied with it. This is my third Saturn; my first saved my life when I was rear-ended by a loaded 18-wheeler nine years ago, and my second was unfortunately totaled out when I was rear-ended by a Jeep a couple of months ago. The Aura is a bit smaller than my previous Saturn, an L200, but is still roomy and comfortable, with a large trunk (although I think the trunk opening may be a bit narrower). I don't know if it's standard, but my car has elastic netting across both back wheel wells to create a stable holding area for lightweight items that might otherwise scatter all over the trunk. The Aura runs smoothly and quietly, and is working its way up to reasonable gas mileage (I believe the mileage and fuel economy settings may have been reset to -0- while the car was being refurbished). It's easy to drive and easy to maneuver. I like the extra power from the V6. I enjoy the climate control system; rather than an analog dial for the balance of chilled air vs. warm air, I can set a temperature, set the control on "auto", and allow the thermostat to self-regulate. This is very pleasant, since spring weather means dramatic temperature fluctuations. I look forward to testing it out come winter. This car has auxiliary controls for the sound system on the steering wheel; I can raise and lower the volume and skip-to-next (or previous) for both CD tracks and selected radio stations. The six CD-changer is a wonderful thing; however, I don't know if this was standard equipment. I haven't tested it, but this car also has a separate sound system for the back seat, complete with two sets of wireless headphones. The instrument cluster includes a whole series of readouts, accessed from a control on the steering wheel. I can cycle through * temp and odometer, * two trip odometers, * fuel range remaining, * fuel economy, and * oil life remaining. My internal sense of direction is pretty poor, and I get lost easily. Having the compass indicator in my rear-view mirror has been fascinating, as I keep finding myself muttering, "North? Really??", but it does make it easier to get back in at least the right direction when I've missed a turn. The only thing I don't like about this particular car is the combination of tinted windows and the rear-view mirror that automatically compensates for bright headlights in following cars. This makes it more difficult for me to judge how much space there really is between me and the car behind me. I expect that with time, I will adjust to this change. Overall, I can't say enough good about Saturns in general and the Saturn Aura XR in particular. I would encourage any of my friends and relatives to purchase one."

2007 Saturn Aura -- comfortable and economical

Lots of features for the price

2007 Saturn Aura visgebeatha - North Carolina 05/15/2011

I may not find a great re-sale value here, but by purchasing this car, I can have many features only available outside my budget. I wasn't looking for many, like headphones for different music selections in the back, seat-warmers, remote start, climate control, and seat warmers, but they have all added enjoyment. The car performs well, with great handling and pick-up.
