She's A Lady
I love my car and it pleases me everyday that I get to drive it! She starts easily, she handles wonderfully and I feel so in control, of her, on the road. She stops so gently. I recently took it on a trip out of state and the gas mileage, for as big a car as she is, was amazing. I love all her goodies and gadgets, inside. She warms up so quickly, on these cold mornings, that I barely have time to get cold before I'm warm and toasty and my windows defrost in no time! The only problem that I've had is with the head rests in the back seat limit my rear vision, somewhat, but it doesn't reflect on the performance of my vehicle.
This car was purchased at a very great price for all the features it came with.
I love my Saturn and wish they still made them. They are great cars, very nice interior and handle the road well with a smooth ride. I also love my onstar features that came with my Saturn Aura. These cars also save lives as I was in my Saturn SL when I was in a severe car accident in 2013 and lived through it. Yes, I had some injuries but have fully recovered and feel if I was not in a Saturn I would not have made it. I definitely wanted another Saturn when I went to purchase a new car.
Good But Not Quite a Honda
I have enjoyed this car so far. There are a few drawbacks. The ride is quite jarring on rough roads or over potholes. Handling is good but not exceptional. The biggest reason I bought the car is because I got a lot of features for the money. I had considered buying a Honda Accord or Civic. Of course, Hondas have a better reputation than GM cars. Many of my friends told me that a Honda was a better choice. However, when I looked a used Hondas, the price for a 4Cyl Honda Civic with a mid-level trim and year models older was quite a bit more. The demand for Hondas is higher. However, for the same money, I got a 251HP 6Cyl car with sunroof, leather, heated seats, remote start and more. Also NorhtStar. Beats a Civic in features and a V6 used Accord at the lowest trim level is $4000 more. 4Cyl Honda Accords are boring. Before I bought the car, I noticed that is almost the exact same care as a Chevrolet Malibu LTZ. The essential specifications and options are identical. The have the same engine, options and share many of the same parts except for the trim items. The car has a 5yr/100,000 mile powertrain warranty that can be honored at any Chevy dealer. The Malibu is tuned for a softer ride. Almost every thing else is the same. However, you will pay more for the simular Chevy because it is not a discontinued model. Both models were built in the same assembly plant in Kansas City, Missouri. I drove some used Hondas. They are more refined, but you pay a lot for the refinement. Also, they are too common for me. I wanted to be different. This car fits my needs and wants. I wanted a lot of features on a budget. I bought the extended warranty. I have not owned the car long enough to comment on long-term relilablity. However, most newer American cars buit in past 3 to 4 years are somewhat better than their predessors. Don't expect high resale value. If you buy this one, you will want to keep util the wheels fall off, so make sure you are satified. The wheels may fall off faster than a Honda.
