This car worked great for the first few months and then when it got cold out it wouldn't start randomly. We thought it was because it was cold but quickly found that it didn't matter what the temp is outside it actually has to do with the security system installed in the Ions. Before buying and Ion looking up 2004 Ion won't start and you'll see that all kind of people are having this same problem. Also, watch out for the seats as they are so sensitive they stain extremely easily!
When the car will start it is great and it is nice looking on the outside. My husband also found that the back seat is removeable and you can put it in the washer so that is great. We are going to try installing a remote start and see if we can get past the starting issues.

This car gets good gas milage, handles well and I like the set-up of the entire console. It is much easier to see than with the gauges right behind the steering wheel.
Great car for the price and options!

As long as you service the car appropriately, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the exception of the key recall. This was the third saturn I had and it was dependable and held its outside appearance well. There were no problems except for the recall.
Nothing compares to the feeling of the wind whipping your hair back as you cruise in a well-built convertible. Well, almost nothing—the feeling of getting a great deal on your vehicle purchase is definitely a close second. You can enjoy both of these awesome sensations at the same time by selecting a high-quality convertible that sells for less than $20,000.
