Customer Review Summary for Saturn Ion
Saturn Ion surprises
2006 Saturn IonSharon - Austin, TX03/31/2008
I was delighted to find out that the car was equipped with OnStar, which is a great alternative to AAA roadside assistance, cell phone,
GPS, etc. and the anti-theft capability. The remote door opener makes a locksmith not needed, unless one actually loses the keys. My only disappointment is the tires. I am not sure if they are the ones that came with the car, because the car only had 18,000 miles on it when I got it, but they are Goodyear, and they are slippery in the rain.
This is the basic version...no automatic, or tinted windows , but the radio sound quality is excellent!
I didn't like Saturn because they are not real cars; and I was wrong. This baby rides smoothly with no cabin noise and great control. My average mpg is 26 (mostly city driving) and I only fill it up once every two weeks. The maintenance is very low because she rarely needs attention and the parts are inexpensive while the regular maintenance is very cost effective. She is exactly what I need and everything that I need. I can't believe that I was so wrong about this car. I love her so much I am going to have to give her a name.
Nothing compares to the feeling of the wind whipping your hair back as you cruise in a well-built convertible. Well, almost nothing—the feeling of getting a great deal on your vehicle purchase is definitely a close second. You can enjoy both of these awesome sensations at the same time by selecting a high-quality convertible that sells for less than $20,000.
