I originally fell in love with my Saturn Ion simply because of the awesome odd green color that it is. The look of the car is very sporty, which I also liked and the "suicide" type quad doors make a cool-looking addition that is definitely a pleaser. After driving my Ion for quite some time now, I am even more pleased with the car's overall performance. For this little car to be a four cylinder vehicle, it seems to have as much pickup as an eight cylinder. It handles so smoothly and drives so easily that you can look down at the spedometer and be running at 80mph on the interstate before you realize it - and you're not pushing the limits of this little engine. I've not had the first problem of any kind out of the Ion. It is awesome on gas mileage - $20 goes a long, long way - even with today's gas prices. The only gripe I could have is that for a longer trip (ie - anything over an hour), the car becomes uncomfortable. It is not made for the comfort of the driver and especially not the comfort of the passengers. I realize that Saturn has kept costs down, which I really appreciate, by not overly stuffing the vehicle full of unneccesary luxury items, but a little bit of fluff would help. The interior is so plain - it almost looks cheap. I deal with it because the car itself is awesome - and as I said, the price was really good. Hopefully, in the future, they can meet in the middle somewhere! I would definitely recommend buying a 2004 Saturn Ion Quad Coupe - mine is Sweet!!!
I love my car!! Great gas milage and drives good. :)
I like the car,it's just making a noise from the front passenger side.
