Customer Review Summary for 2007 Saturn Ion
Saved a life
2007 Saturn IonStephanie - Dallas, TX05/15/2010
My sister had a Saturn Ion a few years ago when she was in a major accident. Though the car had been completely ruined on the outside, the cabin area of the car wasn't the least bit hurt. In fact, the CD was still playing afterwards. The most amazing part about this car, though, is that it saved my sister's life. She suffered only a backache for a few days, when in any other car, the injuries could have been much more severe. This car saved my sister's life.

The car is a perfect first car for my daughter starting college. It is the right amount of zip and agility, is very easy to handle and has an amazing turning radius. Very good visibility through the glass in all directions. Terrific value.

The Saturn Ion was a decent car. One issue I had with it was the floor mat. Being that it was a manual shift vehicle, when you press in the clutch the mat would get caught up in the pedals which posed a danger while driving. But I think this was due to it not being the original floor mats that came with the car. They were smaller than the floor area that they were in. Being that the main reason that I got the vehicle was for better gas mileage, I drove it a total of 66 miles and I was down to 3/4 of a tank of fuel. Not really seing the efficiency in it. It was supposed to get at least 26 mpg. Runs quiet and has really good pick up. Another issue I had, and didn't really think about it until mentioned by others, was that Saturn no longer makes these vehicles so parts would began to get a little pricey if needed further down the road.
