I got the car in February, it was not cleaned out and had a cigarette smell in it that took 5mths to get out. 7 mths after I got the car the starter went out, the left control arm needed to be replace. Now 1 year later after purchase I need new struts and possible suspension.... wish I would've waited...
This is our first Saturn we have owned and it is by far the best vehicle. I love the room it has and the fold away cargo, I get a lot of compliments on our Vue. We have not had any major problems with it. We will definitely buy another Saturn, we are extremely happy.Favorite Features: The fold away cargo and fold back seats. The room is remarkable.Suggested Improvements: Could use better gas mileage.
It's a shame that Saturn has closed its car line because they were getting it right with there last few models. The performace of the Aura is v ery strong and responsive. It has a quiet smooth ride but the exceleration is like a 8 cyclinder car. But in this green age, I've experienced about 26 MPG on the highway. I was able to drive from Atlanta GA to Jacksonville FL on one tank of gas. I like the fact that it has all the bases covered from a entertainment stand point. The stereo will not make you forget most after market stereos, but it is solid with an XM option, and AUX input for your iPod or MP3. The seats are comfortable and heated. The wood trim should have been standard as is on mine. I think it really makes it stand out. I wish it did have a second power outlet in the front. Also I was suprised to find that the gas cap does not lock. The trunk space is small, but I like the fact the seats fold down for my fishing poles and golf clubs if needed. The best part is the value you get for the money. I was amazed that I got so much quality luxury for under $15 K for a car with 26,000 miles. I love it.
