I got the car in February, it was not cleaned out and had a cigarette smell in it that took 5mths to get out. 7 mths after I got the car the starter went out, the left control arm needed to be replace. Now 1 year later after purchase I need new struts and possible suspension.... wish I would've waited...
The car is decent. With that being said, it seemed like a lot of stuff went wrong after the 30 day warranty expired. My hubcaps keep falling off, my windshield washers don't work, and I'm leaking power steering fluid. Also the drivers side tie rods will not pass inspection. I think you have to take a mechanic to buy any car, which I didn't so it's on me.
2002 Saturn VueBunnymom - Katy, TX05/03/2009
I have two small kiddos (2 years and 5 months). We were looking a for smallish SUV-type vehicle that would meet our needs. I was tired of bending over to put both of them in carseats in my old car, so we needed something that was high profile but SAFE. We looked at everything and the VUE stood out as something with decent mpg, safety features and stylishness. There is plenty of footroom in the backseat and I can fit my tandem stroller in the cargo area with no problems - with plenty of room left over! The Saturn safety features are awesome...the wide base of the vehicle hugs the road and makes you feel safe. The sporty feel of the VUE is just enough style to make me feel as though I have it all together - a moxie mom on the go!
I cannot recommend this vehicle any higher. GO FOR IT!
Nothing compares to the feeling of the wind whipping your hair back as you cruise in a well-built convertible. Well, almost nothing—the feeling of getting a great deal on your vehicle purchase is definitely a close second. You can enjoy both of these awesome sensations at the same time by selecting a high-quality convertible that sells for less than $20,000.
