Having driven Chevy trucks and cars for the past 9 years, i was kind of hesitant to move over to Saturn. After all i had never had a problem with any of my vehicles as they all performed admirably. However after one day with the Saturn Vue, i may be hooked for life! If this is a sign of things to come for the General, then the future may be bright. Great Handling, sporty look, and awesome gas mileage performance are just a few things you can say about this awesome small SUV. Only regret is not getting it in the orange color!
Have had the 2008 XR 6 cylinder for only a week now and love it! Life changes required a vehicle that sits up high and has cargo space (sad to see my Sebring Convertible go). Drove both 4 and 6 cylinder and had to have the 6 since the 4 was a slug. Wanted leather and sunroof, but fell in love with one that had neither (price was too good to pass up). Very happy with the vehicle. Rides nice, looks good and is very budget friendly. Liked the body style of 2007 and older, but am getting used to the rounder, sleeker 2008 style. Very happy with our choice and happy to find one that was a great buy!
I had a brand new 2008 Saturn Vue XE with the 3.5 V6 AWD, chrome package with everything automatic, wipers, headlights, climate control when they first came out with the new redesign. Great SUV overall, looks, Power, Space. Now the bad. Horrible MPG. I was getting 13 yes 13MPG, and this was with the smaller 3.5V6. The cloth seats were completely flat with no support, it feels like you are sitting on plywood, hard to reach cup holders, and finally the engine light kept coming on, I must have called onstar and gone to the dealer over 10 times with the same problem to have them reset the light they kept saying it was the gas cap. I know how to put on a gas cap. That was it for me, so if you can look past the no more than 13 mpg and dont mind hard seats than this is the SUV for you.
