The car fits into our overall intended purpose: spacious, safe, medium power, reliable (so far). The vehicle does however comsume a costly amount of gasoline. I would not recommend this vehicle to someone who travel large distances on a regular basis. If you need a family vehicle this one is a good consideration as long as you do not require a lot of bells and whistles.

The Saturn Vue is nice, I'm really happy I bought it. The materials are a little cheap (plasticy feel) but for now its OK. One issue was after having it a few days the dome light cover just dropped off. I've left it off because it actually produces much brighter light, which I like, but it doesn't just fit back into place...don't know how it stays secure in there.
Switching from a sedan to the small SUV has been a great relief to my knees, getting in and out is much less of a strain on them.
It is a little under powered being a 4 cylinder, but does the trick for most of my driving. As long as I'm aware that its going to take a lot to have fast pickup, I'll be OK. It is a smooth ride and fairly quiet inside.
It has a nice turning radius, U-Turns are not really a problem, no worse then my Malibu was.

I purchased this car for my wife because of it's safety reviews and the fact that she noticed no other car on the road. I wanted to get her a 2010 Chevy Equinox but she insist on getting the Saturn Vue. We have had the car for 4 months now and so far I can say that I honestly do not regret this decision. This is truly an Awesome Vehicle, with it's safety ratings, style, comfort, space and performance this is, and Awesome Vehicle.
