The car fits into our overall intended purpose: spacious, safe, medium power, reliable (so far). The vehicle does however comsume a costly amount of gasoline. I would not recommend this vehicle to someone who travel large distances on a regular basis. If you need a family vehicle this one is a good consideration as long as you do not require a lot of bells and whistles.
Not great, But not horrible..

Good little crossover. Has some power, but not much. Could use more cargo space and they could have pushed the back seat back just a bit. It is a bit of a pain putting two rear facing car seats in there and still sit comfortably in the front. Some of the interior pieces (i.e. Lumbar adjustment, door handles) are cheap. My lumbar adjustment knob keeps falling off, I need to glue it back on. And the door handle is very loose and looks as if it wants to fall off at any time. If you intend on buying this vehicle used, do make sure all recalls have been taken care of! I didn't, and ended up taking my car back to the dealership 2 weeks after buying it to get the 2 hoses going in to the heater core replaced. It was dumping anti-freeze in to my car, and still to this day it smell of anti-freeze! It is quite annoying!
Other than a few minor things, and a few personal things, this car is overall ok and I would recommend it to friends!

This is the second saturn and we love it for it room, handling and the fact we can tow it on all four wheels down. A car ahead of its time. It is easy to drive, comfortable to be in and has lots of cargo space.
