Customer Review Summary for Scion tC
Great Car for my Teenage Daughter
2006 Scion tCMommy Salami - Florida02/07/2008
I bought this car for the "family" but actually for my teenage daughter to use. She told me that she liked Scions but I equated them with those little rolling boxes that Scion first came out with. Wow, I was wrong. The tC is a beautiful little sporty car, all the bells and whistles, plus sun roof. The interior is definitely designed for the younger set. But the handling and stability is pure Toyota. And the price is extremely reasonable. Leave it to Toyota to reinvent themselves to suit their consumers. (Remember Lexus of the 80's me-generation?) I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.
A Very Good Safe Car
2009 Scion tCJane - Garland, TX10/11/2012
I had this car for almost 2 years and it is a blast to drive. I am still in "Love this car" stage. It has enough pep to it that you feel like when you need to move it does. Mine had under 60,000 miles on it so I haven't had any issues what so ever with it.
I was involved in accident on a major highway I lost control and 18 wheeler hit the back corner of the car. More than likely it is totaled but I was able to walk away injury free and that wouldn't have if this vehicle was not as safe as it is.
I'm considering buying another one.

It drives nice. However, the hatch plastic constantly rattles and makes noise no matter what you do. It also seems to have a vibration in the car when the air is running. Also, if you find a chip in the windshield and the salesman tells you that they can fix it, that is simply not true. They don't cover it. Wish I had known that before I bought the car.
