Customer Review Summary for 2006 Scion xB
Little on the outside, big on the inside
2006 Scion xBReal Estate Man - Austin12/11/2007
Fun to drive, lots of room on the inside and I just smile when I pull up next to a large SUV at a gas pump (I avg. 32 mpg).
The only drawback is the big upright windshield, don't tailgate gravel trucks.
I LOVE MY SHOEBOX
2006 Scion xBCHAPARRA - LOS ANGELES, CA06/17/2008
THIS CAR IS GREAT, I LOVE IT. I HAD ALWAYS WANTED A CAR LIKE THIS ONE SINCE THEY CAME OUT. I LOVE THE WAY IT LOOKS, I LOVE HOW ROOMY IT IS. I WANTED TO GET THE TC AT FIRST BECAUSE ITS SPORTY THEN WHEN WE WENT IN TO THE DEALER AND SAW HOW ROOMY IT WAS I HAD TO GET THE XB. ITS GREAT, THE GAS MILEAGE IS GREAT ALSO, I LOVE MY MANUAL TRANSMISSION THOUGH. IM IN LOVE WITH MY SHOEBOX.
It is small outside but huge inside, and designed in minimalist style. It gets fabulous mileage and requires extremely little maintenance. It is a brilliant, elegant design, and is really a Toyota! When it first came out, it was a funny looking best kept secret of quality assurance. I drove many Zipcars in 2006 and bought my favorite, but a new one. The XB was hands down best for being cheap, fun, hauling junk, and getting great mileage. I also think ANY car is better with manual transmish. Lots of room inside thanks to the high square shape. A little truck really. And by now a cult classic too. It's the boxiest. Still love it, but I get a company car now and must sell.
