2010 Scion xBPurple Scion Lover - Los Angeles, California07/17/2012
I think I made the best choice for my circumstances. As I awaited the arrival of my second child, I was looking to upgrade from my VW Beetle, which I loved, to a slightly bigger car in order to accommodate two car seats. I had three criteria: four doors, larger cargo space, and an affordable option for a full-time graduate student. I was originally looking into small SUVs but they were out of my price range on my student stipend. I came across the Scion xB as I was conducting my research. The Scion xB was perfect because it fit the three criteria I had for my new car. For it's price range, the Scion xB offers all the important features that a mom of two needs, including adequate room for car seats, strollers, bags, backpacks, and portable electronic devices. Some of the reviews of the Scion xB criticized its fuel economy but I haven't seen much difference in MPG from my Beetle so I can't complain. Plus, the tank is smaller so it feels better, psychologically, to spend less every time I go to the gas station. I love my purchase and would recommend it to someone on a budget.
Love my Scion
