Great little car - best looking of its class (in my opinion). Gets great gas mileage even in stop and go traffic. It could use a middle arm rest and more aux plugs though. Including one for back seat riders. My kids especially like the iPod hook up - makes my life as the driver much easier! It did take a little getting used to since I am used to driving a large quad cab truck - but much, much easier to park!
I have had no problems with this car and it's been over a year since I bought it and it was used :)
I recently purchased the hot lava release edition of the 2008 Scion xD. The car is amazing. There is plenty of room on the interior but it keeps a compact look. Trunk space is small at first but fold down the rear seats or even just slide them forward and you have plenty of space. The rear seats also recline allowing your passengers additional comfort. The basic stereo is excellent especially when considering the aux and ipod connections which allow you to listen to any mp3 player without additional equipment. Fuel mileage is great. I commute about 10 miles each way per day most of which on a highway and I average 32 mpg. The multi display on the dash even shows instantaneous mpg and when cruising on the highway I can reach as much as 50 consistently. I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a cheap reliable car for a low price.
