Earlier this year, I turned 50. Kind of scary sounding. BUT, thanks to many friends and God's impeccable timing, I am the very proud owner of a VERY COOL car which helps take the sting out of getting older.
Not only is my Scion xD a cool looking car, she is VERY fuel efficient, feels very "solid" to be a small car, and she is comfortable for a plus sized woman such as myself. In addition, I have a friend in a wheelchair who needs to be lifted in and out of the car. In all of our travels and dealing with various rentals and taxies, this Scion is absolutely the easiest vehicle to get her in and out of....then just fold down the seats in the back, pop her wheelchair in and we are good to go !
I do wish there was a driver's right side armrest but without it, I am sitting up straighter when I drive.
I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone...but not mine - you have to go find your own.
Love my Scion xd !

I drive mostly interstate miles and am averaging 37-38 mpg. It has more power than my previous car a Toyota Echo. One of my favorite features is that the seating position is a little higher than a regular sedan so the visibility is better. Overall a great car; I am pleased with my choice.
