It drives really bad.
Changes gears horribly (because it has an electric clutch) gets really hot inside, regardless of AC on full blast. Not good on freeways.
The car broke down, two weeks after canceling extended warranty. <----- that's how it always happens.
Such a CUTE car!

Pros: This is the cutest car I've ever driven or owned. It parks anywhere, it gets a ton of compliments, and it has an amazing turn radius. Despite its size it has decent carrying capacity and is roomier than you would think.
Cons: there are very few mechanics who can service it. The only places who can fix it have to be authorized Smart Car centers, which can be difficult if you don't live in a big city. If you do, then it's really not a problem. However, if you have kids, two seats is pretty limiting. This isn't a downside to me, but might be a deal breaker for most drivers.

I love this little car their is only myself and 3 small dogs so for us it is a great car. Keep in mind that you can carry quite a few bags after shopping but nothing big from the hardware store(sheets of wood or 2x4's) but it's ready for a lot of other things.
