After searching for a year, I finally decide on the 2008 Saturn VUE for my pick as my first crossover, and I have not been disappointed. It everything i was looking for and more. The ride is great, ,and I love the style. Great pick up and go, lots of room, and seats five comfortable. best bang for my bucks.

Impressive get up and go with the Honda 3.5 V6 engine. The ride was what I expected - a little ruff but not bad enough to cause any discomfort during long trips. Mileage per gallon was also what I expected..25 avg. on the highway...22 stop and go. Handles great. Very responsive.
Interior is a little cramped for me, but I'm not your average size person. I do like the cargo space and the cargo colapsing containers provided as standard equipment - cleaver idea.
Overall pleased with the Saturn Vue. Too bad the manufacture is no longer in business.

I have over 120,000 miles on my Vue with very little work done other than replacing the front struts. Even with those miles, I still get 23 to 24 MPG on a consistent basis. This SUV is rather plain on the interior and a bit noisy at highway speeds, but overall it gives a comfortable ride. I would consider buying a newer one but they've gotten heavier and more expensive.
