However, I had to put it in the CarMax shop so often in the first three months that the warranties were up before I had a chance to do much test driving, and now there's the covid virus and I'm grounded.

Love my Outback!

This is my 3rd Subaru, the last one I bought new in 2015 I ended up giving it to my daughter. Nothing fancy, runs great so far. 92000 isn’t a lot of miles on an11 year old Subaru. I’m 70 so I may well outrun me!

Pros

  • Dashboard: It’s very simple to understand, I can actually set the clock without reading the manual!
  • Fuel Economy: I like that a tank of gas seems to last a really long time.
  • Weather Versatility: Gets around in the snow really well.

Cons

  • Power: Has plenty of power for me but my daughter doesn’t think it has enough.
  • Technology and Entertainment: It’s 11years old so hardly any technology.Radio sounds good haven’t yet tried CD player.
  • Seat Comfort: Grownups in back might get cramped.

Subaru Tribeca is MY Favorite Vehicle

Heavy enough for towing but good gas mileage. We just went 2800 miles pulling UHaul 5x7 and got about 18.5 mph even across the Rockies. Pretty, sleek and functional. Paid less than Blue Book, love the price and the extended CarMax Warranty.

Pros

  • Fuel Economy: 22-25 mph even in town
  • Cargo Space: All the compartments in the floor in rear plus wide rear
  • Ride and Handling: Drives like a sportscar with the room of a crossover

Hard to tell

Subaru has a great reputation. However, I had to put it in the CarMax shop so often in the first three months that the warranties were up before I had a chance to do much test driving, and now there's the covid virus and I'm grounded.

Pros

  • Fuel Economy:

Cons

  • Ride and Handling: Lack of lumbar support becomes noticeable after a half hour.
