I have a real history of cars. My family has been in the auto industry for years. So, on any given day, the car I started out the day in, may not be that same car at the end of the day. It had been sold!! Such was life. Until I recieved a gift from my husband on our 30th wedding anniversary. My Subaru B9 Tribeca. This was the first subaru had ever owned. I always thought that you had to live in the mountains to have a subaru. That was far from reality.
After I became a grand mother, car safety ranked number 1 in transportation. And that's when I became a Subaru owner. The safety ratings are outstanding. And in order to transport my,"precious cargo", I had to have the best and safest.
I am so thankful for my B9 and I love ever aspect of it.
So . if a new vehicle is in your future , may I be so bold as to say, " Get A Subaru", you will never regret your choice.
This SUV is perfect for us. It holds almost as much cargo as our huge Ford Expedition and is more comfortable than my Cadillac! The 3.0 engine gets good mileage considering this is a powerful, solid car. We did not want an underpowered car with a 1.8 or 2.0 liter engine!! Rear seating is awesome with reclining seat backs and seats slide forward and backwards to adjust leg room vs. cargo space. I feel completely safe (even driving my grandchildren) because it has tons of air bags and some of the best crash ratings in the industry. It is very rugged but very comfortable!
