Transmission: Automatic Color:Silver Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (5 reviews) Soon after moving from KS to the steep, curvy, sometimes snowy and icey Teton mountains I realized I needed a different car. I researched then chose a Subaru. Man, am I happy! In the mountains life must go on in the cold and snow. There's no choice! I confidently and safely drive on roads thru conditions that would keep me homebound in KS! I love my Subaru! I've told my family: I may even start sleeping with it!

fun for all ages

I have had my fozzy for about 1 year and love it. It handles very well, fun to drive and for an AWD vehicle, it provides very good gas mileage. That is even with having the XT version. Fits everything you can think of in the vehicle. Only complaint is that the rear leg room is cramped for adults

big car, nice but terrible city gas mileage

terrible gas mileage. I upgraded from a honda fit because I needed more space to haul around my booth (I am an artists who does a lot of craft shows and needed a vehicle that could handle the weight) I expected the mileage to be close to the sticker (22city/27hwy) and seriously, total lies. I drive "highway" often, but the only time I saw 27 mpg was on a road trip (1400+ miles). I was regretting not getting the VW tdi diesel wagon, but now that VW was exposed for fraud regarding emissions, I am only moderately ok with choosing the subaru.

Meeting ALL expectations!

Specifically wanted the safest car we could afford for our teenage daughters to drive. Its build quality, crash test ratings (and real life reputation), and great fuel economy give us peace of mind. The Subaru Forester is also a lot of fun to drive, and ts enormous sunroof gets lots of kudos from their friends (i.e. all the light without the wind of a convertible).
