Reviews for 2012 Subaru Forester
Best car, great price
Security and safety. In any weather I feel in control and secure. Hardly do you see a Subaru involved in a weather related accident.
Pros
- Braking: Brakes are very responsive. When I brake, this car wants to stop.
Cons
- Technology and Entertainment: Could be a bit more up to date. But works as is.
Handling, storage, maneuverability are Aces!
It meets all of my needs and interior is supremely flexible as to passengers or cargo.
Pros
- Ride and Handling: It's my first SUV, yet handles like a car, and the ride is smooth.
- Power: It has been several years since I've had a 6-cylinder; the response is instantaneous!
- Reliability: It is purportedly one of the best vehicles to drive in New England.
Cons
- Fuel Economy: The six cylinders deplete gasoline more quickly.
- Technology and Entertainment: It doesn't have a lot of the bells and whistles of newer models.
A fun & functional vehicle.
I believe the Forester has a sweet balance of size, function, and fuel economy.
Pros
- Fuel Economy: Great mileage for an all wheel drive wagon.
- Weather Versatility: All wheel drive contributes to better handling no matter what the weather is.
- Visibility: The seating position, hood contour, and pillar placement all allow for great visibility while driving.
