I own this exact car, right down to the color. Bought mine used two years ago. I love my car. The cabin is comfortable, the controls fall right where I need them to be. Handling is excellent. Fantastic in the snow. Build quality is great, not a rattle or peep to be heard. My only wish is a touch more legroom for passengers in the back seat - deducted one star for comfort for that reason ONLY. Plan on owning my 2007 Forester for the next decade and beyond. Lots of cargo room, great for camping or traveling back and forth to New England, which we do often. Wagons rule...love the distinctive boxy old style much more than the new Foresters, which look like everything else on the road. My husband is a car guy, and he loves my car as much as I do.
I have had my fozzy for about 1 year and love it. It handles very well, fun to drive and for an AWD vehicle, it provides very good gas mileage. That is even with having the XT version. Fits everything you can think of in the vehicle. Only complaint is that the rear leg room is cramped for adults
The 2007 Subaru Forester is an intelligent sized SUV which some onlookers may mistake for a station wagon, if not for the SUV defining skid plate on the bottom surface. Its boxer engine and Symmetrical All Wheel Drive render a smooth and safe ride. I owned this year/model of the Forester years ago and really missed the car's quality, engineering, and performance that will spoil any driver. I was happy to have found another one in great shape at CarMax and it has not disappointed me. Regrettably, after the 2008 model year, Subaru upsized the Forester to the size of the competition's compact SUV. They should have left this size in their Forester lineup alongside the bigger one and re-badged it the "Subaru Classic".
