Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.154 reviews) If you are looking for a reliable daily driver that you can have fun with on the weekends, this is the car! The Subaru AWD is the best in the business or at least than the other AWD cars I've driven/owned. Plus, I can't find another turbo four door vehicle that looks as good and is easy on the wallet when it comes to insurance. Great trunk space, back seat leg room and cockpit styling. I've said this to all my friends and I'll say this again "If someone wants to try and mug me for this car, they will have to put up a really good fight!" There are some downsides. 1) The transmission can be a little "soft". This car was not designed as a drag car and slamming gears as so or a heavy day at the track WILL break the transmission. There are some aftermarket fixes for this, but to me they were pricey. 2) Last, the stock paint and clear coat aren't very thick and knicks are easy and common from daily driving. However, I've found a good wax will take care of most blemishes. Subaru owners swear by this car and I can see why.

2006 WRX Wagon

We test drove ours and fell in love. Went with the wagon over the sedan b/c the back seats in the 2006 sedan don't fold down and we didn't want to have to put everything on a rack (snowboards, bikes, etc). It's easier to just fold down the seat in the wagon and throw them in. The biggest drawback on this vehicle is the gas mileage, which is expected with all wheel drive and the WRX engine, but it still sucks. Also, with the WRX, you have to get at least mid-grade gas. Ouch. Overall, we love our Subaru. It handles great and is so fun to drive. We never get nervous about winter road conditions here in Vermont with this beast.

The best decision I ever made!

There are so many reasons I would recommend this car! It's given me no trouble, it's speedy and fun to drive, and there's plenty of room for all my stuff. The AWD makes it reliable in all types of driving conditions and in the Northwest that's pretty important.
