Transmission: Automatic Color:Gold Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.79 reviews) I was very happy to acquire this car as they are relatively rare. This model has a much smoother ride and less noise than previous years which surprised me. I was expecting a rigid racer style car, but this car delivers much more. The performance is amazing and this car grips the road like you would not believe. I feel very safe in rain and snow. The mileage could be better, but I think for the performance it is better than most of the competition. I get 20-21 when i'm driving like a child and 24-26 when I drive casually or am on a long freeway trip. The interior is somewhere between luxury and cheap. Some parts feel well made and others are questionable. The mesh seats are surprisingly comfortable and there is plenty of room in the back areas for tall people. My only complaints are the stereo and road noise. I think the road noise is mostly coming from my tires, but I wont be able to find out for sure until I change them. The speakers are fine for most people, but I am somewhat of an audiophile and enjoy super high quality music with a great range of sound which is why the system did not impress me. All in all I love this car!

Subaru Impreza

Subarus are the most practical car on the road. Great gas mileage and all wheel drive and they last forever.

wrx

we bought a 2008 subaru wrx that is fully loaded. always having been a v-8 type guy i was kind of leary about getting a "sports car" with a 4 cyl. after we bought the car in sac we decided to take it down to san diego that weekend. it was a very comfortable ride ( all 10 hours each way) . we had to stop for gas one time on the way down. our average speed was 80+ (i wont tell you the top speed) lol with the built in mpg gauge i was able to see that we averaged 22 mpg. the stereo in the car is great with its ten speakers system. the lights were exceptional at night time , turning on themselves when it got dark. the rear view mirror automatically dims when a car gets behind you. the windshield has a built in wiper defroster as well. alot of trunk space helped with all our stuff too. in the center console it has a charger hookup and jack for your ipod or mp3 player which is also played thru the stereo system. the handling in the car is top notch and acceleration was supeior to any other car we past. over all we are very pleased with the car and will definetly be buying another one in the near future.

My car

I am so happy to have my car. We traded a 2011 Toyota for this 2008 Impreza--having traded a sport--couldn't be happier to have "my" car back.
