I was very happy to acquire this car as they are relatively rare. This model has a much smoother ride and less noise than previous years which surprised me. I was expecting a rigid racer style car, but this car delivers much more. The performance is amazing and this car grips the road like you would not believe. I feel very safe in rain and snow. The mileage could be better, but I think for the performance it is better than most of the competition. I get 20-21 when i'm driving like a child and 24-26 when I drive casually or am on a long freeway trip. The interior is somewhere between luxury and cheap. Some parts feel well made and others are questionable. The mesh seats are surprisingly comfortable and there is plenty of room in the back areas for tall people. My only complaints are the stereo and road noise. I think the road noise is mostly coming from my tires, but I wont be able to find out for sure until I change them. The speakers are fine for most people, but I am somewhat of an audiophile and enjoy super high quality music with a great range of sound which is why the system did not impress me. All in all I love this car!
This is the first non-American car I've bought and it was the best decision I've ever made! The symmetrical AWD works great and the tip-tronic shifting is awesome and works really well. I'm sticking with Subaru for the rest of my life :) An STi is next!
So great! I did a lot of research before buying and had been looking for a small hatchback with some get up and go. It was down to the Impreza or a rabbit. In fairness to the rabbit, we didn't even test-drive it we loved the Impreza so much. Good handling, fast, fairly fuel efficient, comfortable - all round, really good. Only complaint - no aux input even though they say there should be one. Really such a tiny complaint - not really even worth adding, but you feel like you have to offer some constructive criticism with these things!
