We test drove ours and fell in love. Went with the wagon over the sedan b/c the back seats in the 2006 sedan don't fold down and we didn't want to have to put everything on a rack (snowboards, bikes, etc). It's easier to just fold down the seat in the wagon and throw them in.
The biggest drawback on this vehicle is the gas mileage, which is expected with all wheel drive and the WRX engine, but it still sucks. Also, with the WRX, you have to get at least mid-grade gas. Ouch.
Overall, we love our Subaru. It handles great and is so fun to drive. We never get nervous about winter road conditions here in Vermont with this beast.
My Second Impreza
2014 Subaru ImprezaJudy D. - Fairport, NY11/18/2015
Car is just the right size for me and my needs. The hatchback gives me the storage room and my newest one seems wider and a bit roomier. Also the seats have been straightened! No more bucket seats which I never liked about the Forester and other Impreza I've owned. Always feel safe and secure in my Suburu, no matter what the weather.
I have owned 4 of them, and will never own anything else again. With a Subaru I always know that I am able to get to work no matter the weather and if it is dark or foggy outside I know that I will be able to see (the lights are awsome). Sometimes I like to drive around in the mud, just because I know that I will not get stuck.
