Transmission: Automatic Color:Gray Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.688 reviews) Bought this car because the van I was using to go camping was getting old and unreliable. Two weeks after purchase we went to Missouri and Arkansas to look at some land in the Ozarks; went through some very rough paths to get to some properties, no problem for this baby, took the hills, rocky terrain, bumps, sand, without a problem. All wheel drive worked wonderfully, ride was comfortable, gas pedal control could be a little "tighter". I love the automatic lights, don't need to worry about turning lights on or off. Seat adjustments make long drives tolerable and very comfortable. Some fun surprises: storage places just above the spare tire, all the little pockets up front for sunglasses, garage door remotes, connectors for your mp3 players, 12 volt plug-ins in the elbow rest box up front and one in the back, for other "toys" needing power. Mileage is quite good for a car with AWD. No more bright lights reflecting in the rear view mirror. No antenna to get bent out of shape by car wash brushes. Good job Subaru! Can't wait to take this thing camping!

Outback Limited

Comfortable, economical, safe, fun to drive, luxurious! I also have a newer BMW and I still can't make up my mind which car I like better. I like them both, but I bought the Outback for more hauling space. I love that I can get a quality used car from Carmax without the hassle of dealing with your traditional car salesmen and the ridiculous routine they put you through. Also, you don't get stuck with a damaged clunker from Carmax and no sales pressure.

Colorado's Car!

For living in the west, specifically Colorado, Subaru Outbacks are THE car to own. Yes, I understand that station wagons are not "hip" or cool, but this car is not about being hip or cool, but rather being able to get where you want to go up in the hills safely and with little trouble. And speaking of little trouble, any Subaru, with its all-wheel-drive, will allow you to get around town or the state in snowy weather, with little or no trouble. The Outback is safe and one of the most reliable vehicles out there!
