This is my first Subaru and overall I'm very happy with it! So I will only address the few concerns I think Subaru should tweek! 1st unbeknownst to me Subaru's are known not to have really good Navigation systems, So my question is: If you're going to charge a considerably large amount for this option and it has "known" issues, Why not FIX IT? If I was aware of this prior to shopping for my "perfect" tribeca, the process would have been alot quicker & cheaper! My advice to the future subaru owner: If you want a GPS, buy a portable one. Which are allot cheaper, and allot more accurate than my navigation unit! My 2nd and last concern is the leg room in the 3rd row is basically a JOKE! Unless you're a 3 ft. child, your legs will not FIT in the 3rd row. Plus, moving the 2nd row seats up is a trick in itself. So, even though I think it was a nice option ... it wasn't well designed. Thankfully, it's just me and my husband so we just keep the 3rd row layed down and use the extra cargo space. My advice: if you're going to need the 3rd row daily; buy a van. I hope this was helpful to the future shopper... These were things I would have liked to known about prior. That being said.. I would still buy a Tribeca, just a 5 seater, and no Nav. system.
I LOVE my Tribeca, it has so much room in both the front and bad seats. Its comfortable and easy to drive, GREAT in the snow! I was unstoppable this winter.
Great Value
2009 Subaru TribecaDribble - North Carolina04/04/2012
I made this purchase because I was looking for a 4WD/AWD that I could use for mountain travel when the weather was not "perfect." This car fits every criterion I had established + it's a fun car to drive. I rally have been very happy with my decision to buy my Tribeca! It is now my every day driver!
