Family Wagon & more

We have the 2009 limited with 3rd row seat for about 2 years now and have put over about 20k on it. Though some don't care much about the exterior.... In my book it is a solid contender. The handling is a bit more sporty and the suspension is gonna be on the stiffer side but boy... This crossover/SUV handles. More like your European counterpart than your other Japanese brands. It is very reliabille and dependeble. It sits just right as far as the heights and ride much like a car. It feels solid and SAFE on the road especially with our little ones in the back. The e subaru legendary symmetry all wheel drive puts 40/60 split so you get that rear wheel drive feel. It handles all fairly well in all types of weather. The only "con" that I have is the MPG and the fuel tank is slightly smaller for a size of this beast. I get around avg 18mpg combine and about 200-220 per tank only. Otherwise.. You will enjoy this SUV for years to come. Hope this helps.

One Great Car

Could not have purchased a better vehicle. It handles really well and we have received many compliments. It is a well made car. My stepson was so impressed with the vehicle, he purchased a Subaru also.

Great value

I had hoped my 10 yr old Lexus SUV would last a few years longer and that I could avoid trying to figure out what to buy next but the Lexus started having too many issues and I was forced into looking for a replacement. I researched for a 4WD SUV that would handle snow better than my Lexus yet have at least some of the luxuries. Nothing too big and I wanted a similar look without the pricetag. The more I read about the Tribeca, the better it sounded. I paid to have the car transferred to my local CarMax just from online info and pictures. I am very happy with it overall. I think it was a great value. I've gotten unsolicited compliments on it's appearance. The interior is spacious and attractive. I got the seat warmers I wanted. Sound system is good. The dash is user friendly and has a great techie look to it. Mileage could be better (about 20 MPG). The sensors for reverse are a bit annoying in that they're a bit random as you start backing up. Overall however, I got a lot of car for my money. Waiting to see how it handles snow.
