Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (5 reviews) We bought this vehicle to transport our very large Great Dane from Maryland to our new home in western Colorado. It has had an ignoble SUV life with no more challenges that !-95 could dish out. Well this truck was ready for action! We climbed Lands End Rd to the top of the Grand Mesa a week or two ago and I swear the truck was smiling the whole way. We have some challenging roads in Colorado (many too much for my wonderful Subaru Outback as I learned the hard way) and this vehicle can handle them. We may not do Engineer's Pass again this year but I know this truck could do it easily. I'm not a fan of Toyotas. I think, as a rule, they are stiff and boring to drive and the bodystyles are a total yawn. The 4Runner is a very nice handling truck and very comfortable to drive. We drive 1840 miles in 3 days and it was much less exhausting than I expected. I am very pleased with this vehicle in driving in civilization as well. It has a good "city drive" feel to it as well. The interior is very comfortable in the Limited Edition and thankfully this model year was not bogged down with silly electronic devices (I raised 4 kids without a DVD player in the car and I think its ridiculous to numb your kids with drivel at every opportunity but that's just me). Everything has worked beautifully since we brought the truck home. We plan to put many miles on this truck before its all said and done. And I anticipate being as pleased with the truck as I am today.

Great dependable vehicle with all bells and whistles.

This is my 3rd Toyota 4 runner that I have purchased. I still have my 1996 4 runner and it is still in great condition with over 200k miles.

I love this vehicle!!!

I just love the car. It is my second 4 runner and I have never had a problem with the car. Not one in 10 years

4 out of 5 stars, above decent.

Bought this for my wife. Interior of the limited editions is very nice. We have the 4 wheel drive version with hydraulic shocks, considering it is a 4 wheel drive, the ride is extremely smooth. However, the steering is completely numb and somewhat floaty. The engine seems somewhat underpowered for the vehicle, but the 4 cylinder version is horrendous. All and all we're pretty satisfied with the vehicle. Gas mileage could be better. We get between 20 and 22 highway, have gotten 23 drafting an 18 wheeler. Don't drive much in the city but i guess it would be around 16-17. The "Eco" mode/indicator is really pointless.
