I have owned 4 runners for the last 8 years. They have never let me down. Very dependable vehicle. Great for large animals. How would have recommended Toyota 4runner for anybody who wants a sport utility vehicle for driving in the snow going off Roe calling large loads and transporting large animals.

I have to admit that I am impressed by this vehicle. At 89000 miles I haven't had a single issue. The only thing I've put into this vehicle is gas, oil, new tires and filters. It has never failed to start (even in below zero weather). There are no items or accessories that are broken inside or outside. 4 wheel drive functions perfectly and has gotten me out of some tough spots, it has shift on the fly by pushing a button. The traction control system performs quicker than the other 6 suv's I've owned. The bottom line is that I would buy a second of the same if I had a need. Thanks

I have driven a 1/2 ton truck for the last 30 years and decided that I wanted to drive something with a little better gas milage but that would hold family and friends and luggage when it was appropriate.
I got that and more in my Toyota 4 Runner. Although it doesn't sit up as high (I have the 6 cylinder and I think maybe the 8 cylinder sits a bit higher) as my 1/2 ton it doesn't sit on the ground like a car and so the visibility of what's up ahead in traffic is still relatively good.
The visibiltiy out of the vehicle is superior. I can look anywhere in the vechicle and it doesn't appear to have any blind spots and that's important for me.
The seats are comfortable and the stereo is wonderful. I love, love, love this vechicle and so glad that we bought it.
