Customer Review Summary for Toyota 4Runner
Reliable and powerful.
2013 Toyota 4RunnerMs. A Gray - Atlanta, GA04/18/2016
It is stylish and dependable. When I purchase a new vehicle I look to see if the older models are still on the road. I have seen many people driving older 4Runners as well as other Toyotas.
This is what we were looking for!
2007 Toyota 4RunnerDesertGuy - Ventura, CA05/14/2012
Since my son was born in 1996, we have been using a 1997 Toyota RAV4 for our camping trips. While that vehicle did great and is still running fine, my son is now 6 foot 5 and has to hang his legs out the windows of the RAV on long trips. We needed a bigger vehicle that could handle (far) off-highway driving in the desert but still be comfortable enough for the long drives to and from the desert.
The 4Runner is quiet and smooth to drive on the highway, so the drive to the desert is easier to handle. Once off the highway, we have found that it handles well on the average dirt road and is able to get us through deep sand and steep rocky 2-tracks. It also fits all four of us and our gear pretty easily. When we unpack at a camp site, we can get to gear without having to unpack and repack every item with surgical precision because of the room for gear. When the desert heats up too much in the next couple of weeks, w will take it to the mountains. We will be using this SUV for many camping trips far into the future!
The best car ever!
2005 Toyota 4RunnerJao - Charlotte, NC01/14/2008
I recently bought a Toyota 4Runner, and so far I am really satisfied with this vehicle. It's fun to drive, great full economy for a SUV, great design, etc. However, I would love to have more interior gadgets like an mp3 player input jack, better designed third row seat... but Toyota's quality and performance it's a no brainer, so I the happiest car buyer ever!!
