Used 2008 Toyota 4Runner SR5 for Sale
Reviews for 2008 Toyota 4Runner
Everything I Wanted
I picked the 2008 4Runner because it scored well in reviews and had the necessary safety features like rear seat airbags that I require. It drives well and the V-6 has plenty of power (have not hauled anything yet. I have a Sport Urban Runner with the X-REAS suspension which makes this car glide around corners - unusual for an SUV. The built in Tom Tom Nav set and stereo is klutsy and non-intuitive. The screen is small and it is hard to switch between Nav and stereo. The GPS function works great - just hard to see and use. I haven't had it off-road or in the snow yet but I expect nothing but greatness.
Love my 4 Runner
Between the simple traveling around town for groceries or traveling hours for work, this vehicle is far superior to my last one. Comfortable and yet completely functional to haul the dog and camping gear. Plenty of pick up, smooth ride and I feel completely safe in my new 4Runner. Although more "function" than "form" in the interior - the stereo is really great and who needs all those fancy dials, etc when the air blasts like a cold wind (in a good way).
Simpley the best
I will match my 2008 4runner Limited 4WD against any SUV made today if you need a SUV that you can keep well over 200,000 miles with trouble free driving that offer a nav system, leather heated, seats sunroof, all terrain all weather with every standard option that you will ever need that ride like a luxury car, tow 5000lbs among the best run on regular gas. In my opinion the 2006-2009 are the best 4runner ever built people who own the limited 4wd don't trade them in they keep them in the family this year anyway just see how many you can find, most people just don't let them go 2006-2009 if you find one your lucky.
